GOD and SCIENCE AGREE...
“The More I study Science, the More I believe in God”. - Albert Einstein
This quote seems unlikely coming from a scientist. Throughout recorded history science has challenged religions dogma and vice, versa. It’s worth remembering that it’s human beings who enmeshed the concepts of God with religion. God is not equal to religion and religion is certainly not equal to God. God is incomprehensible but fully experiential. Religion cannot even come close to capturing that.
Einstein saw that the operation of the natural world effortlessly moved in precision, whereas many other scientists of his time viewed the operation of the natural world as chaotic, limited and tame-able.
When Einstein spoke of God, he referred to believing in “Spinoza’s God”. Baruch Spinoza was a 17th Century philosopher who suggested that the existence of God is made evident through the natural world itself. “God is nature”, for a lack of better words. Evidenced, for example by the distinct patterning of a sunflower, or in the way the crystals of a snowflake form. There is perfection and intelligence that is mathematical and geometric in its expression. This is known as sacred Geometry.
Spinoza’s philosophy wasn’t new or unique. It was just being delivered in a way that appealed to the mindsets of his time. He was expressing a very old and sacred wisdom. One that had been echoing for hundreds and thousands of years before him - through Egyptian iconography, Kabbalistic Wisdom, Vedic Scriptures, Celtic and other tribal practices. This notion that God is present in nature an all around us expressing itself perfectly in both subtle and grand manifestations. Many religious folks would call this Paganism, or even Hereticism.
In Yogic Technology and Meditation we connect to our inner vastness. Understanding that many dimensional layers of consciousness travel deep into the center of our being. This inner investigation opens us up to be able to recognize that vast intelligence also surrounding us, even into deep space. This creates merging of our limited consciousness with universal consciousness - the pure definition of “Yoga”.
The Recent images displayed by the recently launched James Webb Space Telescope are delivering us images from space that can travel back in time a quarter of a billion years! That is equal to 13.6 billion light years away. This profound scientific advancement is offering us never known before information about the creation of our own universe and the existence of innumerable universes and planets beyond our own. Humanity has opened up a new frontier of access and understanding to the natural world, existence, consciousness and God never before been available to us. Godspeed Yogis!!
